To Theme Or Not To Theme?

3rangelifedrawing

We are starting to see an increase in people wanting to add specific themes to their life drawing sessions with us. We always provide berets etc for the group but this is more to do with the poses the model provides and the accessories they have with them.

So far themes requested have included Harry Potter, Wimbledon, Italy, Rock climbing and the Jubilee!

We are really happy to tailor sessions to the clients needs and it's always great to see the reaction of the bride to be when she sees the personal touches that have been added to a life drawing session. It really adds to the fun of the whole event.

So to address the title of this post To theme or not to theme?

Well it is a personal choice and not a necessity. If you are responsible for organising the events for your group it can be quite pressurised as you want to get everything right. A Hen life drawing session on it's own is a lot of fun and we take care of everything from start to finish.

If you know of something that the bride to be is really into such as a TV series, Movie, Sport or even something linked to the groom we can incorporate this into the session with either props, poses or decoration. A lot of the time it can be done with minimal costs and we will work with the organiser to keep within budget.

The picture below was from a recent session where we were asked to include body painting and the Jubilee theme. We allowed additional time for this on top of the life drawing and the group had a fantastic time and really showed their creative side.

Jubilee Body Painting

We are always happy to discuss any ideas out clients have and we strive to make it a memorable and fun occasion for all!
